Why diligence is hard

Prepping for diligence is 10x longer and more expensive than being in diligence. Unless you do both at the same time, and then it’s worse.

I started Zifuri because venture deals die and acquisition prices are often lowered because of missing documents or slow production. These spell “RISK” to investors and buyers.

Companies dream of pressing a button and sending all their organized documents to an investor or buyer. It never happens.

  • Collecting,
  • Cleaning,
  • Reviewing, and
  • Filing

documents takes day-in, day-out effort. It’s important, but not urgent, so even if you give someone this job, that person is always doing something more urgent. I’ve seen it in real life

And so the task is always done in a rush at the last minute at more than 10x the expense.

What we do

We build and populate an investor-ready data room from your raw final documents to help make your business Investable.

Our platform streamlines the process by:

  • helping you upload final documents and doing all the hard work of renaming your documents from “2 r Colosimo consulting final v2 final final.pdf” to an industry standard “Zifuri - consulting agreement (Colosimo) 4-Jul-1976.pdf” so that you and your prospective investors can track what’s in your data room.
  • filing each document into an appropriate folder in an industry-standard data room structure that won’t require you to move everything around for every investor
  • adding a premium layer of skilled QA to ensure that the documents you upload are in fact complete - no missing signatures, dates, or exhibits or attachments.

Load your files, and we’ll DFY keeping your data room always up to date.

How it works

Our initial packages include unlimited Google Drive storage (more platforms coming) with our custom-designed folder system to hold your documents.

Who we are

I'm Rick Colosimo, and I'm the founder and CEO of Zifuri. I hate SaaS apps that don't tell you who you're working with but want you to trust them, so here we are.

I've been a startup and corporate lawyer for over 25 years, both in Silicon Valley and New York City. I've worked diligence from the days of literal banker boxes and redwelds to the modern era of self-service Dropbox and Google Drive to industry-standard data room providers such as Firmex.

Nathan Colosimo - I'm the de facto CTO for Zifuri, implementing our workflows and connecting our tools to integration partners, starting with Google Drive for example. I'm a CS student at Northeastern University, was a varsity and club swimmer throughout high school, and am looking forward to my next venture.

Mike Princi - I'm the CFO for Zifuri, helping the company create robust integrated operational and financial plans as well as a performance management plan that helps us keep on track. I keep track of how Zifuri helps customers reduce risk and costs in their day-to-day as well as when preparing for strategic financial transactions.
